2012 NWTC Engineers Week Open House
The NWTC Engineers Week Open House was held on February 23, 2012. Two volunteers from the FRVB attended to represent ASCE. They were able to answer many questions by the students and parents in attendance. It was an excellent opportunity to promote civil engineering, explain the many things we do and what a great career civil engineering is.

- The 2012 STC (Spring Technical Conference) will be held on Thursday March 15, 2012 in Madison, WI. For more information and a complete brochure see the Meeting Schedule.
- Registration is due by March 1, 2012
- Late registration will be accepted for a $10 fee.
- The Fox River Valley Branch is offering a $1,500 scholarship in 2012. Check out the Scholarship Committee page for more information.
- Milwaukee Brewers vs. Minnesota Twins - We will be tailgating and attending the game on Saturday May 19, 2012. More information is available on the Meeting Schedule page. Sign up soon. Space is limited.
Request for Volunteers!
The 90th anniversary of the Wisconsin Section is in 2013 and we will be celebrating that milestone at the 2013 Spring Technical Conference, hosted by the Fox River Valley Branch. We need enthusiastic volunteers for the 2013 STC Committee, both a chair and committee members. The conference will have a “history and heritage” theme with technical presentations as well as interesting historical engineering presentations. Get involved in the celebration and volunteer!
